Blog update

Hey all, I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday! Today I thought I would take the time to do a little quick update on a few changes I am making on Life with Spina Bifida. A couple of weeks ago I started having more migraines so my doctor told me to double the dosage on my current medication to see if that would help give me some relief. The good news is it has helped give me fewer migraine days but the bad news is I am sooo tired all the time and even with two to three-hour naps every day it doesn’t seem to be enough to get me through the day and I still struggle to stay awake most days. My current blog schedule for new posts currently is every Monday and Thursday but because it is so hard for me to stay awake throughout the day and I believe creating quality content is important that is about to change.  From now on I will be publishing new content every Monday and updated old content will be published on Thursdays. This may only be temporary until my body adjusts to the medication or it could be permanent but either way tiredness always beats migraines so I will take it! I still have bad migraine days but I haven’t felt this good in a long time(like years) and although these changes may not be ideal it is the best that I can do right now to continually give you my best work. I hope you all can understand!

PS: There will be a blog post tomorrow this was just a quick little update.

  1. I am too! I have been getting a lot of new subscribers lately so that was my thinking exactly. Even the people that have been following me since day one can benefit from rereading old content because who remembers content that was published a year ago? I know I sure don’t!

  2. I’m glad to hear you’re having fewer migraines, and hopefully the energy levels will get better. In the meantime, I look forward to reading some of your older content–I’m sure there’s a lot of your content that I haven’t read yet (one plus of publishing updated old content is that newer followers get to read posts they haven’t read before)!

  3. Hi Sarah, I’m happy to hear your migraines are better but sorry about you being so tired. Hopefully this will improve as your body adjusts. We will pray for you. So happy you’re continuing working on your blog. You’re very positive. Love you. And always remember, naps are good. 😉
